CAMILLE Piazza is used to reading Girlfriend magazine, but soon the Central Coast teenager could find herself in its pages.

The 14-year-old is one of the six NSW finalists in the Girlfriend Model Search competition.

Last year the search uncovered fellow 14-year-old Natalie Jayne Roser from Newcastle who appeared at this year's Sydney Fashion Week.

Piazza entered the competition at Westfield Parramatta and has been plucked from thousands of young hopefuls across NSW.

"I'd love to work in fashion, whether it's the business side or the modelling side," she said.

It is the first time Piazza has modelled since she was a small child. As a toddler she appeared in Australian children's fashion mag Studio Bambini.

Piazza likes dancing, hanging out with her friends and shopping.

She will now compete to be a national finalist in the comp. Six national finalists will be selected for a Girlfriend fashion shoot and a two-year modelling contract with Next Model Management in New York.

All finalists will snap up two-year modelling contracts with Chic Model Management, Sydney.
