The marriage of Bill and Camille Cosby has lasted more than three decades, but it hasn't always been bliss.
In the new issue of O, The Oprah Magazine, Mrs Cosby, 56, said that early in their marriage the two had to learn how to put their individual needs aside for the benefit of their marriage.
``It's difficult to learn to live with somebody, to be unselfish and to be responsible for your behaviour - and even to think how you hurt others if you do certain things," said Camille, who married the comedian when she was 19.
She said she was still dealing with the pain of the death of her only son, Ennis, who was murdered in 1997.
The couple has four daughters.
